FFV representatives included Helen Tyrikos the new program development coordinator-women and girls and exercise physiologist Elliot Elliot who presented the session. Elliott was very passionate about injury prevention and is keen to educate coaches and players in the ins, outs and practicalities of this critical program. Elliott works with the young Matildas and Essendon FC to ensure players are physically prepared to play.

The workshop will be held in Ballarat at Morshead Park on Sunday 6th August 10.00-11.30am. The session is aimed at all female teams aged 12 and up. Breakfast will be available from 9.30am. Ideally the Coach, Team Manager and two players from each team should attend. Participants will be required to get physical so please wear the appropriate clothing and soccer boots. Registrations will be offered in all divisions. As registrations come in, the Summer Sevens team will restrict registrations and remove certain divisions to ensure competitive leagues.
