Celtic Challenge

One budding Ballarat soccer player will get the opportunity of a lifetime to attend a week training academy at Celtic Football Club when the Scottish club visits Ballarat in April.

The chosen player will get a chance to train at the elite facilities and showcase their talent to the Celtic coaching staff – an opportunity that could provide the pathway to the next level of soccer.

The training academy will be open to boys and girls of all abilities from ages 7-18 while local coaches will also get an insight into the elite minds of the Celtic coaches in the coach-the-coach session.

Ballarat was hand-picked by the Regan Milstein Foundation (RMF), an organisation dedicated to providing children extra opportunities in sport, to host one of the academies. For more info click on image:

Mini Roo’s are booming!

The Mini Roo’s are booming off this season with more and more teams being added every week.
This “just for fun” event is getting in more potential superstars then we expected, clubs are telling us how more and more parents want their children to play in these, and why wouldn’t they? It’s a very fun way for the kids to get exercise, get out of the house and  away from the electronics, to make new friends or even just to bond with their current friends!

The Mini Roo’s shall be playing at “Russell Square” this week if you are interested to go down and check them out!
