RIP - David,

It is with great sadness to share this news, our thoughts go out to David’s family and the Daylesford & Hepburn United Soccer Club

David was a current member of the BDSA boardIts with the heaviest of hearts that we inform you that David Endicott, Friend, Life member & Treasurer died suddenly yesterday.
The most loyal of clubmen & unofficial number 1 ticket holder Dave was a constant at the club. He was happiest chewing your ear on the sideline & following juniors far and wide to watch games. He was a passionate advocate for our club and its players, taking enormous pride in their success and their progress.
Unmissable in his varyingly outrageous hand me down glasses and untamed beard, he always had a view on how we could do it better but at the same time was also happy to tell you why we were the best club going around.
The Committee at Daylesford & Hepburn United pass on our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and those who have benefited from his company at the club.
Constant, humble & generous, occasionally prickly on the outside, but always soft in the middle, he has been an irreplaceable link to the history of our club and its values.
I’m sure Marton had the BBQ on, was waiting with a Kransky & hopefully someone remembered to cut the onions.

Football given a boost in Ballarat! ⚽

Funding from the State Government and Ballarat Council will result in an upgrade of facilities at Pleasant Street Reserve.

It includes the redevelopment of two senior pitches and training area, and coaches’ boxes, meaning access to safer surfaces for all.

Deputy Mayor Amy Johnson and Juliana Addison MP visited Ballarat Soccer Club's home ground as part of today's announcement.

LOST PROPERTY

Despite the cold weather on Saturday at Myers, we managed to have accumulated a large number of warm winter jackets, the sun came out on Sunday and we have some sunglasses handed in.

If you recognise any of these items, please contact countrychampionships@gmail.com and we will endeavour to reunite you.

Anything not claimed by the 30 June will be donated to local charity. ...
